data collected by the RUSS unit in Shagawa Lake can

These data
should be considered "provisional" until otherwise indicated.
The data are undergoing several rounds of QA/QC
review and some may be modified at a subsequent date. We chose to leave
the data hose on full blast whenever possible to familiarize ourselves
with the operation and maintenance requirements of the RUSS units and
to generate real data for use in developing curricula and lesson plans.
Data gaps were associated with various RUSS system upgrades and occasional
gremlins.
NOTE: the fluorescence probe is set to report chlorophyll in units
of ug/L BUT these are relative values, only to be used to see how fluoresence
changes over time and depth. We will post acetone extracted chlorophyll
values as soon as they become available.
NOTES

chlorophyll was calibrated; set to an extracted chl value of 43 ppb.
***DO will be reading low until we are able to visit the site again
and turn on the DO circulator.
**DO and EC are reading low. The sonde will be calibrated within the
