New WOW data sources for 2003:
updated 1/23/03
  • Check out the Duluth Streams web site. This project focuses on urban streams and stormwater issues in Duluth, MN. As in WOW, Duluth Streams has a real-time data emphasis, with 3 stream monitoring stations deployed in three trout streams.
  • More stream data can be found on Lake Access where 2 more stream monitoring units have been deployed to help develop a nutrient budget for Medicine Lake in Plymouth, MN.
  • We soon hope to have data available for Lake Onondaga in Syracuse, NY. Another EMPACT project called "Our Lake" has 2 RUSS units deployed on the lake and its tributaries. Check back and see data from the "dirtiest lake in the US".
  • We've also begun putting data from Lake Mead, NV into the data visualization tools. Two RUSS units have been deployed in this southern Nevada reservoir that both receives wastewater from Las Vegas and is the city's drinking water source.
  • There are also several RUSS units in the Seattle, WA area in Lakes Washington and Sammamish.
