These data
should be considered "provisional" until otherwise indicated.
The data are undergoing several rounds of QA/QC review
and some may be modified at a subsequent date. We chose to leave
the data hose on full blast whenever possible to familiarize ourselves
with the operation and maintenance requirements of the RUSS units
and to generate real data for use in developing curricula and lesson
plans. Data gaps were associated with various RUSS system upgrades
and occasional gremlins.

° RUSS
out of service
°° The
data from RUSS on Ice Lake between July 1 and July 16th 1998 are
suspect. We have yet to determine if the probe was malfunctioning
or if the data reflect actual changes in the lake. When we determine
what happened we will post our findings here.
°°° Temperature
data of 0°C is assumed for the surface (0 meters) when the RUSS
is installed on the ice.
